Grading and Reporting Policies

Middle School


The CCPS honor roll policy was formally revised by the Board of Education on September 10, 2007. The specific and only area that was changed is the middle school and high school designation for distinguished honor roll. The criteria for attaining the recognition of distinguished honor roll has been changed from marking period grades of all A- (3.62 average) or all A (4.0 average) to an overall marking period average range of 3.8-4.0. This Board of Education revision takes place immediately so it pertains to calculating the recognition of distinguished honor roll beginning of the first marking period of 2007-2008 school year.
