Special Education Staff: Special Education Paraprofessionals
Special Education Paraprofessionals supplement the services of teachers and enable them to give more of their time and attention to the parts of the teaching-learning act that require professional knowledge and skills. Not all special education programs have assistants. In some schools, volunteer and student assistants may be utilized.
